Maximino Arciniega was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Columbia College Chicago where he received his B.A in Theatre. He was selected out of thousands of actors for the ABC/SAG Diversity Showcase in Chicago, the CBS/SAG/Nosotros Latino Diversity Showcase in Los Angeles and the first annual CSA/Chicago showcase in Los Angeles. He was seen on the main-stage at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago in Luis Alfaro's "Electricidad" playing the role of "Orestes". He's an ensemble member of Chicago's only Equity Latino Theatre company "Teatro Vista". Maximino Arciniega Jr. (MaxSoul) is also a Hip-Hop artist who writes, records and performs. He has performed in the top venues in Chicago and will begin performing in other cities. He is also a poet. He was selected to open for Russel Simmons and The Deaf Poets (Def Poetry Jam/HBO) after taking first place in a poetry slam contest. He is The Actor, The Poet, The Emcee.
